Model the Millionaire Mindset

 Model Millionaire Mindset

Successful millionaires often have someone else more successful than themselves whom they model after. Do they copy what their predecessors do? Not entirely. Modeling has the additional element of customizing to one's own gifts, circumstances and resources and further innovating the idea, habits or practices. Let's look at several examples to understand the principle. Model the millionaire mindset and your actions to attain it will follow suit.

The medical term of behavior modeling is the "treatment procedure in which the therapist models the target behavior which the learner is to imitate." A martial art exponent learns his skill from someone who is highly skilled so he could be as good as his master or even better. If you wish to master the violin, you would set out the find the finest violin instructor or the best music school. If you wish to be the best medical doctor or chiropractor, you go to the best institution and learn from the most successful doctors.

The Japanese are one of the best models. They do not do much original invention but modeling after great innovations such as cars, electronics and then innovated to evolve better products. They did not invent the cars but they invented the Toyota and the Honda. They did not design the first watch but the innovated the Seiko and the Casio.

So how do we model to become the next most successful millionaires? We naturally look up to people whom we admire and respect and want to be like them. So pick a successful person and learn as much about them and how they became successful. Two my favorite millionaire models are Robert Kiyosaki and Anthony Robbins. Pick out their biographies or read their best sellers and learn the secrets of their success. Many of them can't wait to share their success formula with you. Kiyosaki has since his early youth decided that he was not going to model after his "Poor Dad" but to model after his "Rich Dad" instead. If you read his best seller "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" you will discover how he goes about modeling after someone he deemed as successful and decided to take the necessary action to be as successful as them.

Actually we have been modeling all of our lives since birth. We mimic what our parents teach us in the form of words. Not just the pronunciation but the accent, the volume and facial expression. So this is a process we already know. Just begin to apply this concept in your endeavors and becoming a successful millionaire whom someone else may want to model is possible.
