Affiliate Marketing Strategy

There are several affiliate marketing strategies, one particular affiliate marketing strategy I like to use is Google Adwords. Using pay per click traffic from Google Adwords, you direct the traffic to your affiliate program using your affiliate link. Or you can direct the traffic to an opt-in lead capture page or to a review of the product before sending them to the affiliate program. You can do this with Overture pay per click. There are some smaller search engine pay per click programs that are cheaper than Google and Overture.

Another affiliate marketing strategy is to write reviews and articles about an affiliate program or product and submit it to article directories. Put your affiliate link in the authors resource box at the bottom of the article. You can get several sales from this and best of all, its free to do.

Or you can buy ezine advertising to promote affiliate products. But you need to find an affiliate product that the list hasnt heard of yet and not saturated with affiliates that are already promoting it. If people from the ezine lists have already seen that product for the fifth time in a week, then chances are your sales will be low if any of them do buy from your link.
