The Story Behind CBS Survivor Series

Who thought up the idea? Who was the man or shall I say genius behind this riveting and amazing reality TV show?

The story behind Survivor is almost just as good as the Survivor series. Its a story of triumph and human survival in a new land for an immigrant. This immigrant is Mark Burnett executive producer of survivor, who left the military and England at age 22 to come to America. The land of opportunity-as all immigrants call it. He started at the bottom of the ladder as a Nanny and rose to fame and fortune.
