To All Dreamers

A soft wind I feel, the wind of dreams
Drown out the loud noises in my ear
And take me away from this gloomy hole
Nothing holds me; reality is but a dreadful foe

The fire is burning inside of me
I can feel it, the strength that lets me go on
Living this empty life, waiting for the right time
To step out and really be me, theres more to this hollow shell
Look deep into my eyes, and see whats in my heart

I can hear your voice God, telling me to keep going
Tired and wary, yet unafraid of whats next
Knowing and praying with you on my side
I will win; I will be the victor of this fight
All that I crave and want will finally be mine

Weightless and light-hearted, burdens and sorrows no more
All that of the past is gone with the first ray of sunlight
The moment is now; today is a brand new day
And a fresh start I am given, thank you God for this time

Please cherish dreams, nurture them and never let go
For dreams are all that we have, even if we have nothing
Make them real and live them in the waking hours
Its so hard to wake when all you ever want is to live in a dream
