Ecurrency Exchange and
Ecurrency Trading
Is ecurrency exchange and ecurrency trading a good
investment? In my opinion, NO. There are too many scams right
now involving ecurrency and e-gold. There are many programs
that seem to popup overnight promising high yield returns for
the use of your money. These programs promise to invest in
"safe" ecurrency exchange and trading then give you a 3-15%
daily payout. When someone asks you to join such a programs,
don't. Don't be tempted by the fast money, if you fall for it,
you may never see your money again.
There's no SEC (securities and exchange
commission) and other regulatory rules that govern ecurrency
exchange and trading. There's no actual exchange or board such
as the Chicago Merchantile or the New York Stock Exchange or
the AMEX. You have to be really careful with these programs. If
you're really tempted, then do it with a small amount of money
that you won't miss if it's gone because you might not see it
again. Give them $10. Test it out. See if you actually get $1 a
day for 6 months if it's 10% return.
Here's some safety tips:
E-gold does not reverse charges, so if it's a
fraud or scam, then your money is gone. Paypal will let you
dispute charges, so Paypal is a safer bet.
Make sure you get the name of the company, and
then verify that it's an actual company. Get the company's
mailing address and phone number. Call up the phone number and
see if someone actually answers with the company name. If it's
an offshore company in some place you never heard of, and
there's no company address and no company phone number then be
careful.
Make sure there's a company website that you
can look at. Search online for the company name or the name of
the individual with the word SCAM behind it to see if anything
comes up. If there's a bunch of results, be careful, it most
likely is a scam.
If it's a person that solicited you to join
some high yield investment program, get their full name. Verify
that there is actually such person, do a search online in the
white pages. Ask for their phone number. If they refuse to give
it to you, then something is fishy here. Call the number, make
sure it's really their number.
Also, never send money to any individual to
join some type of program. You can't trust an individual that
you don't know.
There are some ecurrency exchange programs
where it's very hard to take money out of the system. Some
people have to wait 6 months. Is this the type of investment
you want to get into? Maybe in a few years if it's regulated
and there aren't as much scammy programs. And if you can
actually withdraw your money when you want.
I don't like mutual funds that much, but I'd
rather you put money into a mutual fund than into some kind of
ecurrency program. With mutual funds your investment could lose
value, but at least you can take it out when you want and no
one will take that money from you. I hate scammer, and I hate
people that take money from hard working people because they
can't make their own money. You need to be careful. Because of
the ease of the Internet, a lot of scammers think it's the Gold
Rush and they can take advantage of innocent people because
it's low expense to them and there's masses of people
online.
