Constant Stream of Leads and
Prospect
In order to reach your goals in network marketing you need to
have a constant flow of leads and prospects to talk to. How do
you get your prospects? Do you depend on just one lead or
appointment that may or may not join? Its surprising to see how
some network marketers dont do much but based all their hopes
on just one person joining. Its a numbers game. If you talk to
a hundred then youll get people that are interested in your
company and in joining or in purchasing products. If you only
talk to one person a week, the chances of success are not very
high.
Leadership Skills
There are some network marketers that are awesome at recruiting
but their recruits drop off like flies. Have you ever seen that
within your company? These people only care about recruiting
and dont know how to keep and retain their recruits. They
either cant or dont train their recruits to do what theyre
doing and dont build relationships. These recruits dont make
any money and quit in a few months.
Discipline and Work Ethics
Sometimes the things we hate doing are the things that will
grow and further our business but we dont do it and keep
putting it off. Does that sound like someone you know? Things
most new recruits hate doing the most are talking to people
about their business, prospecting, cold calling, telling their
friends or family what they do, etc. People dont like change
and would rather be a secret agent quietly sitting in the
corner of the room at company events and meetings then to do
things they dont like.
Get a System and Work that System
Consistently
If the company youre in doesnt have a system to prospect,
recruit, train, and motivate new recruits then develop a
system. Refine the system until it works smoothly and then work
that system consistently. Its not productive to jump from one
thing to another, especially if you get tips from the Network
Marketer of the month and quickly switch your system. Jumping
from one system to another isnt going to help you because youll
have to learn their system, which takes time. Youre better off
sticking to one system, perfecting it, and then applying it.
Youll see your results improve and then youll business will
take off in time.
The key is not to give up. Youll see network
marketers that put in a year or two into their business and
when they dont see the big money-Quit. They quit just about the
time their business is ready to take off. It takes time,
patience, and persistence to make it in this industry.
