A Letter to those Single and Lonely

Its that time of the year again-Christmas, New Years and a string of holidays. If youre single, youre probably feeling a bit lonely when you see all those couples and families together. Dont be.

You could spend more time with your family and friends, the people that are close and dear to you. And you could pray. Renew your faith and belief in God and ask him to help keep you company so that the feelings of loneliness and despair dont ruin your holidays.

Another way to combat feeling lonely and sad for yourself if you dont have someone special in your life is to help others from being lonely-such as elderly people in nursing homes or in the hospital. Some of these elderly folks dont have any family or kids and no one to visit them. If you can stop by for an hour or two and bring Christmas cards, candy, popcorn, cookies or whatever else you have to give they would appreciate this kindness.

Maybe you or the one you are destined to spend the rest of your life with isnt quite ready to meet. What do you mean? Well, for instance, you or the dream person you have in mind might not have become that type of person that you would like or you may not have become the person you would like to be yet.
